Joseph Paul "Joe" Dimaggio

Joe Dimaggio also known as the Yankee Clipper was an American Major League Baseball player who was most famous for his 56-game hitting streak. Joseph played for the New York Yankees for 13 years and accomplished a lot even though his home stadium was more designed for left-handed power. In January 14 1954 Joseph married famous film star Marilyn Monroe but it ended 274 days after their wedding. The incident that caused their divorce was the well known skirt blowing scene in the movie The Seven Year Itch.
